When it comes to flavor, this chocolate cake does not lack anything. I think the recipe is easier than most other cakes, too. I don't want to imply that cake is good for you, but without egg it's probably at least better for you than other cakes.
I think I could pass this cake off as 'normal' and people would not even notice. I made this cake and then went home for the weekend. Upon my return, there was no cake left, so apparently my roommates enjoyed it, too :D
Becca has told me that the alternate frosting recipe is better. I'm going to have to try that one next time. It doesn't require heating the ingredients. I had to try to make the frosting three times because I would heat it too much and it would come out with the consistency of taffy. The other recipe sounds easier.
