Celery with Peanut Butter



Celery by itself is weak, in my opinion. It's good as an ingredient to add some crunch, but it's perfect as a vessel for delicious peanut butter (or hummus). (Honestly, as long as it's plant based, I will probably eat it covered in peanut butter or hummus) The peanut butter pictured above is Kroger brand with all of the oil and high fructose corn syrup added. I'm currently working on phasing out those types of 'non-natural' peanut butters. I love peanut butter and as you can see the ratio of peanut butter to celery I employ is pretty high!

I like this as a quick snack and it's not too bad for you. Peanut butter is a little high calories and fat (not something that I'm particularly worried about as a vegan), but is a good source of protein.

This is cheap and fast, too!
