
This dish was amazing! One recipe was enough for me to eat twice, but I couldn't help myself and I came back to eat the leftovers just a few hours after I made this. The recipe comes from Vegan Yum Yum. The picture of the dish on that site looks a lot nicer than mine :D
Unfortunately, I overcooked the tofu and it was a little too crisp (I'm still getting the hang of cooking tofu). I've learned my lesson and it will be better next time.
The prep time for this should probably have only been around 30 minutes, but I failed at cooking tofu and took forever. (Once again, lesson learned)
I would be willing to serve this to omnivores and think this would be a great way to introduce tofu to a tofuphobe. The sauce is so good that it doesn't really matter what it's covering.
This is a great dish for me because besides rice vinegar, all of the ingredients are things that I keep around the house. So, it's really convenient.
